Under the German G7 Presidency, Dr. Stefan Oschmann, represented the biopharmaceutical industry as President of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufactures and Associations (IFPMA) at the International Expert Group on Emergency Preparedness (IEG) meeting.

International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) is a global, non-profit, non-governmental organization which represents the research-based pharmaceutical industry. The primary goal of IFPMA is to improve global health by representing members in dialogue with intergovernmental bodies, nongovernmental organizations, Geneva-based missions of national governments, civil society organizations and others. 
Dr. Stefan Oschmann is currently IFPMA President. The Merck, KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany IFPMA President’s Program focuses on “accelerating access to health” for people in low and middle income countries with a focus on two initiatives: local empowerment and local innovation.
